NCWEP

The North Country Workplace Education Program

NCWEP is a collaborative high school internship initiative involving three high schools, Littleton, Profile, and Lisbon, and over 50 local businesses. This internship program allows high schools to enhance their educational curriculum by offering students relevant real-life workplace experiences, opportunities to gain new skills, and build mentorships and career networks. Local employers are able to familiarize students with their business operations, explore local talent for possible future college internships, and/or employment, and support the schools and the community. It’s a winning strategy that brings the world of work to students in meaningful and engaging ways while serving the diverse goals of its educational, corporate, and economic development partners.

The NCWEP is supported by the Grafton County Economic Development Council, The NH Department of Resources and Economic Development, and the NH Department of Education. The program brings the world of work to students in meaningful and engaging ways.
